ICP DAS USA’s data acquisition solutions are used in Data Center monitoring systems to collect real-time data including server status, temperature, humidity, power, smoke detection, leak detection, and access control. Our data center solutions are used in enterprise facilities, colocation centers, cloud infrastructure environments, financial institutions, healthcare facilities, and government buildings.
ICP DAS USA solutions support local and remote monitoring and control of data center operations over Ethernet networks and web-based interfaces. Operators can view environmental conditions, review event logs, monitor IP cameras, and receive alarm notifications from a workstation or mobile device. Centralized monitoring improves system visibility, reduces downtime, and helps maintain secure and stable operating conditions.

WISE-7118Z/S2 has a thermocouple coming from its input and it takes the temperature in the aisle of the data center. One of it’s digital outputs goes to a chiller for cooling the area. Another digital output goes to a heat exchanger for heating the area. WISE-7118Z is configured over a web browser and implements IF-Then-Else type rules that turn on the chiller or heater based on the desired specified temperature.
Temperature Measurements scroll across the screen on iKAN-124 for each row. Measurements show in Red for conditions out of the safe range.

EDGEDR-01-N-23 AVEVA Edge Development + Runtime SCADA software will be installed on a computer in the building. (The computer runs a MySQL database and AVEVA Edge SCADA software). It is connected to the iNS-316 over Ethernet.

The iCAM-MR6322 IP Camera will be installed on the ceiling of the server rooms and outside the building for security. It is connected over Ethernet to the iNS-316.
WISE-7144 Configurable I/O Controller has a digital input coming from it connected to the server room door and connects back over Ethernet to the iNS-316.

The iSN-104 connected back to the PC through I-7561U over RS-485. The iSN-104 has 4 channels and each channel is connected to a CA-LLD-DP100 Leakage probe which detects if water is being collected by the server.
Data centers are the foundation of most online services including social media, streaming services, online marketplaces, online banking, Email, Messaging and data storage. Data center applications involve servers, data storage, applications and processes to support email and file sharing, business operations, websites, machine learning, customer relationship management systems, data communication, collaboration services and more. ICP DAS USA’s solutions are used across the world in Data Centers allowing for local and remote monitoring and control of servers, temperature, cameras, secure entry access, fire systems, the environment and more via web browser from computers or smart phones.
Server rooms are access controlled preventing unauthorized visitors to keep the data safe. ACS-11-MF Access Control Keypads are installed at the server room door for secure access. Each user’s access code and ID are stored in the MySQL database on the AVEVA Edge SCADA computer. The ACS-11-MF access control keypad is connected to the AVEVA Edge SCADA computer over Ethernet cabling through the iNS-316 Ethernet switch. ICP DAS USA’s iCAM-MR6322 IP cameras are installed throughout the server room and around the building for security and is connected back to the SCADA computer over Ethernet. The WISE-7144 has a digital input connected to the door of the server room and works with the IP camera by the door as it’s configured to take pictures when the door is opened. The AVEVA Edge SCADA system has a history event log of all the users that enter the server room with a time and date stamp.

Temperature Measurements scroll across the screen on iKAN-124 for each aisle the data center. Measurements show in Red for temperature conditions out of the safe range. Fans and chillers get turned on when the temperature is above ideal levels. Heat exchangers get turned on when the temperature is below set levels. The WISE-7144 is connected to smoke sensors and triggers fire alarms when smoke is detected. The WISE-7118Z/S2, iKAN-124, and WISE-7144 are connected back to the AVEVA Edge SCADA computer over Ethernet through the iNS-316 PoE ioT Ethernet Switch which provides power to the WISE-7118Z/S2 and WISE-7144 over Ethernet.
The iSN-104 Liquid Leak Detection module passes leak detection information collected with the CA-LLD-DP100 leak detection probe. When water is detected, an Text Message and E-mail alarms get sent out alerting about moisture and water collection.
