ICP DAS USA’s control, data acquisition, data communication, and SCADA software are used in factory automation systems to collect real-time data such as temperature, pressure, vibration, position, and production counts. These systems execute control logic, drive conveyors, robotic cells, and motors, and manage automated processes to maintain product quality and reduce downtime.
ICP DAS USA solutions support local and remote monitoring and control of manufacturing operations over Ethernet networks and web-based interfaces. Operators can view production status, analyze system data, and control equipment from a workstation or mobile device. Centralized monitoring improves system visibility, shortens response time to faults, and increases overall production efficiency.

Large sheets of metal are stamped and formed into car body parts including doors, fenders and hoods. The VPD-173N touch screen controller is used to select the part to be stamped and displays the manufacturing status.

TSL-P4R1 stack light monitoring modules provide visual status indicators for each machine on the production line. Red, amber, green, and blue lights display machine states such as active production, idle, fault, or service required. Stack lights improve operator awareness and reduce response time during production issues.

Operators select the paint color on the IWS-2201-CE7-1500 Touch Screen Controller running Indusoft SCADA software. The SCADA program includes a paint automation system that applies paint evenly with help from the ET-7226 Modbus TCP based analog input, analog output, digital input and digital output module. Then the vehicle is baked to accelerate the drying process and to enhance durability. Then wax and polish are applied in delicate layers.
Robotic arms and welding robots powered by our ET-M8196F 6-Axis Ethernet Motion Control Unit and a VB.NET program running in IWS-2201-CE7-1500 assemble the roof, sides, vehicle doors and underbody
ICP DAS USA’s factory automation solutions support real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing equipment and production processes. These systems collect operating data such as temperature, pressure, vibration, position, machine status, and production counts. Data is transmitted through industrial Ethernet networks to touch screen controllers and SCADA systems, allowing operators to monitor production, control equipment, respond to faults, and reduce downtime.
During the metal stamping and forming process, operators use the VPD-173N touch screen controller to select the vehicle component being produced and monitor its manufacturing status. The controller provides a local operator interface for managing the production of parts such as doors, fenders, and hoods. An NS-205A industrial Ethernet switch provides reliable network communication between the controller and connected factory equipment.
Machine status throughout the production line is monitored using TSL-P4R1 stack light monitoring modules. These modules detect red, amber, green, and blue stack light conditions that indicate operating states such as active production, idle, warning, fault, or service required. Machine status data can be transmitted over Ethernet for centralized monitoring, alarms, reporting, and maintenance tracking.
In the vehicle painting process, operators use the IWS-2201-CE7-1500 touch screen controller to select paint colors and monitor the automated application process. The controller runs Indusoft SCADA software, which provides the interface for supervising paint application, drying, waxing, and polishing operations. An ET-7226 Modbus TCP I/O module provides analog input, analog output, digital input, and digital output channels for connecting sensors and controlling equipment used throughout the process.
Robotic arms and welding systems are controlled using the ET-M8196F 6-axis Ethernet motion control unit. The motion controller coordinates automated movement during the assembly of vehicle roofs, sides, doors, and underbody components. A VB.NET application running on the IWS-2201-CE7-1500 provides the operator interface and communicates with the motion control system to supervise robotic assembly operations.
