VPD-173N is a touch screen HMI device designed for building automation, home automation and industrial automation. VPD-173N is equipped with 7-inch high resolution TFT color touch screen and can fit in regular electrical wall-mount outlet. With the various communication interface including RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), it can be seamlessly integrated with other I/O modules and Modbus TCP / Modbus RTU network. The touch screen controller is modern-looking, and presents beautiful, flexible and user-defined screen background. It can be used to upgrade the mechanical switch to smart control pads for building/home automation.
HMIWorks is a free development software that comes with the VPD series HMI devices, which provides Ladder Designer for PLC users, and C language programming environment for IT users. It is easy to use and does not cost much time to learn how to create an application program of VPD devices when using Ladder Designer.
