WISE Controller Application

Since the debut of WISE Intelligent Controller in 2010, the rich features of WISE such as: easy-to-use configuration interface, no programming required, more types of I/O supported, and flexible logic setting have brought enormous praise in various fields worldwide. WISE is also recognized by continuously winning 2011 and 2012 Taiwan Excellence Awards. We aim to bring more advanced functions to this product, and share applications from our customers.

Tunnel Monitoring System

Security maintenance in a tunnel is time-sensitive and requires monitoring a wide range of areas. Relying solely on manual operations during emergencies can cause delays and huge losses. WISE-5800 connects to various I/O devices and responds to emergencies in real-time. Installed in multiple tunnel segments, it integrates with smoke/temperature sensors, warning lights, sprinklers, ventilation fans, and other equipment. Pre-set rules trigger firefighting procedures automatically, and all information is gathered at a backend control center for traffic and safety management.

Advantages:

1. WISE-5800 connects with ICP DAS I-7000 and Modbus RTU modules, enabling control of various I/O devices with flexible deployment via RS-485.
2. Equipped with IF-THEN-ELSE logic via web interface, WISE-5800 performs real-time monitoring and emergency response.
3. Supports Modbus TCP/RTU, enabling connection with SCADA software for centralized data aggregation.

Unmanned Facility Room Monitoring System

Modern control rooms require monitoring of temperature, humidity, access, and power consumption. WISE-5801 connects with ICP DAS I-7000 and Modbus RTU modules for full control. Logic can be configured for daily maintenance:

• Automatically manage room temperature via air conditioning, sending notifications if thresholds are exceeded.
• Rotate air conditioning devices to prevent damage from prolonged operation.
• Detect faulty devices and switch to backup units with automatic notifications.

WISE-5801 integrates with SCADA software for monitoring, data collection, and electricity usage management.

Fire Alarm Linked System

WISE modules can build a linked fire alarm system using the P2P function. Place 6 WISE-7152 modules in different regions; DI channels connect to detectors and emergency switches, DO channels connect to warning lights. The system triggers alarms and updates all modules in real-time, providing clear guidance and network status monitoring.

2. Ethernet and PoE reduce wiring complexity.
3. No complex SCADA needed; system status is visible via indicators for easy maintenance.
