Introduction

The Advanced IIoT Edge Controller - WISE-2841M inherits the features of the original WISE series controllers: perform system setting and monitoring by browser, powerful IF-THEN-ELSE logic operation capability, connection ability to a variety of I/O modules, support data computing and real-time message notification functions

To address the increasing demands for information security in IoT systems, WISE-2841M offers a range of encrypted communication protocols. With HTTPS, users can securely access the web interface without concerns about unauthorized access to settings. The controller supports SNMP v3 for seamless and secure integration with IT and network management systems. SFTP and FTPS protocols enable secure downloading of logged data files.

Security is further enhanced through blacklist and whitelist controls, allowing domain-based traffic filtering. The built-in VPN functionality allows WISE-2841M to communicate with devices in protected network environments, isolating it from external security threats.

For cloud integration, WISE-2841M supports leading IoT platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and IBM Bluemix, as well as ICP DAS's IoTstar Cloud Management Software.
