ET-2242U-32

Introduction
The ET-2242U-32 is a 32-channel digital output module (sink/source type) designed for industrial applications. Each channel is equipped with photocoupler isolation and short-circuit protection and is capable of driving loads up to 300 mA. It features a built-in 2-port Ethernet switch, enabling daisy-chain wiring for flexible system configurations, easier installation, and reduced network infrastructure costs. To enhance reliability in harsh environments, the module includes EMS protection (EFT/ESD/Surge) and 3000 VDC I/O isolation. It also allows users to define power-on and safe output values for each digital output channel.

The module supports I/O Pair-Connection, enabling DI-to-DO mapping with remote devices over Ethernet. Once set up, remote digital input data can be written to local digital outputs in Pull mode using the Modbus TCP protocol.

With built-in MQTT support, the ET-2242U-32 can act as both a publisher and subscriber. It communicates with an MQTT Broker Server to publish real-time I/O statuses and receive control messages via subscribed topics. The module features an auto-reconnect mechanism and a keep-alive interval to maintain stable communication with the broker, even after disconnections.

Additionally, the ET-2242U-32 supports the SNMP v2c protocol, allowing it to send module and I/O data to SNMP-compatible network management systems. When the Trap function is enabled, the module can automatically notify administrators of I/O status changes or restarts, providing real-time monitoring and alerts.
