PC Data Logging and Communication
This webinar introduces PC-based data logging and communication using ICP DAS USA’s PCI and PCIe expansion boards. It explains the differences between ISA, PCI, and PCI Express slot types, how to select the right card based on your PC’s available slots and the I/O you need, and how driver-based DAQ boards provide fast, direct access to analog and digital signals for high-speed measurement and control applications. The training also covers ICP DAS USA PC communication cards that add RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 COM ports to a computer for connecting serial instruments, Modbus RTU devices, PLCs, barcode readers, meters, and other peripherals. Throughout the session, you’ll see selection guides, driver/software support (Windows and Linux), example applications (testing, inspection, automation, and monitoring), and practical installation tips to help you build reliable PC-based DAQ and industrial communications systems.
