This webinar introduces configurable and expandable Modbus IoT controllers and shows how they can be used to collect field data, execute control logic, and connect to higher-level monitoring systems without traditional programming. The training explains key IoT concepts and protocols—especially MQTT—and then walks through configuring an IoT controller through a built-in web interface, including network setup, I/O status monitoring, and creating if–then–else logic rules that can trigger actions such as email alarms, scheduled operations, or CGI-based events. You’ll also see how to log data to a microSD card, retrieve logs using FTP, and integrate the controller into a SCADA system (demo shown with InduSoft) to display live values, trends, alarms, and dashboards for real-world applications like tank level monitoring, equipment status, and remote facility automation.
