tET/tPET-P6 Module

Introduction:

The tET/tPET-P6 is an IP-based Ethernet I/O monitoring and control module. The module can be remotely controlled through a 10/100 M Ethernet network by using Modbus TCP protocol. Modbus is a widely used standard for connecting industrial devices. This makes the tET/tPET-P6 perfectly integrated with HMI, SCADA, PLC, and other software systems.

These modules support digital input and can create DI to DO pair-connections through Ethernet. Once configured, the module can poll local DI channels and write to remote DO devices in the background using Modbus/TCP.

tET/tPET-P6 Features

Key Features:

Built-in Web server: The t(P)ET series features a powerful 32-bit MCU with a web management interface for settings like DHCP/Static IP, gateway, and mask.

Built-in Dual Watchdog: CPU watchdog resets the module if firmware misbehaves. Host watchdog sets outputs to safe values if communication is lost.

Low Power Consumption: IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE reduces power costs and environmental impact. Can also accept DC input.

32-bit High Speed Digital Counter: Counts locally to avoid communication delays; supports up to 3,500 Hz and counts up to 4,294,967,296.

Frequency Measurement: Measures DI frequency directly with 3 scan modes and 4 moving average options.
