Greenhouse cultivation plays a very important role in modern agriculture. As greenhouses are usually equipped with various high-tech equipment, management tends to be very complex. A fully automated greenhouse control system brings obvious benefits such as labor savings, but more importantly, it enables improved quality of produce and information gathering that can make the difference between earning a profit or suffering substantial losses.
The ICP DAS WISE-7118Z controller is equipped with 10 thermocouple inputs that allow real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity in the greenhouse. The 6 DO outputs of the controller can be connected to various greenhouse facilities. It will monitor greenhouse conditions in real time and, in response to the connected sensors, the control system will automatically adjust vent positions, fans, heating, fogging, shading, lighting, irrigation frequency, irrigation nutrient levels, and CO₂ levels, etc. The WISE-7118Z tirelessly monitors key environmental factors that affect crop quality and makes constant adjustments that a grower could not achieve with the same consistency. In addition, the WISE controller also supports the Modbus TCP interface, allowing information to be instantly transmitted to the control center for real-time monitoring of the overall status of each greenhouse more efficiently.
WISE controller features an IF-THEN-ELSE logic Rule Engine that enables implementing logic configuration via a web page in just a few clicks — no programming required.
Supports Modbus TCP Protocol, enabling seamless integration with SCADA software.
WISE-7118Z features PoE (Power over Ethernet), eliminating the need for dedicated electrical outlets and reducing complicated wiring. With a PoE switch, it enables the ability to send electrical power over Ethernet cables.
WISE-7118Z is equipped with AI channels that allow individual inputs of voltage, current, or thermocouple, and it also features 240V AC high-voltage protection.
