The heartbeat LED flashing at approximately 1 Hz indicates normal system operation. The Ethernet 10/100M LED illuminates orange for 100 Mbps connections and remains off for 10 Mbps links. The Link/Act LED is green when a valid Ethernet link is present or when network packets are being transmitted or received. The 7-segment display cycles through multiple diagnostic values, including portions of the IP address, COM port baud rate settings (for example, “1152” representing 115200 bps), and the number of active TCP connections (0 to 8). These indicators allow quick troubleshooting of communication and network status without logging into the web interface.
