The ICP DAS TGW-715 is a Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU gateway designed to integrate legacy RS-485 PLCs and field devices into modern Ethernet-based SCADA and IIoT systems. It converts data from devices operating as Modbus RTU slaves into Modbus TCP, which is widely supported by SCADA software, HMIs, and cloud data platforms. Most SCADA systems act as Modbus TCP clients, allowing them to poll the TGW-715 for real-time data from connected serial devices.
