Motion Control Technology
This training webinar introduces motion control technology for machine automation and shows how to implement precise multi-axis motor control using ICP DAS USA motion control hardware and software tools. It explains the fundamentals of stepper and servo systems, how motion controllers execute time-critical positioning tasks, and how I/O expansion can be integrated for sensors, limit switches, homing, and safety interlocks. The video then demonstrates configuring and operating a multi-axis motion control card using PC-based EasyGo software—covering axis parameters (speed, acceleration, jerk), homing setup, interpolation (linear/circular), real-time status monitoring (position, speed, encoder feedback), and digital I/O mapping through FRnet modules—so engineers can quickly commission, test, and troubleshoot motion applications like CNC machines, robotics, and automated production equipment.
