This video is the final part of the TouchPad C-programming series and shows how to build a more dynamic HMIWorks project that can be adjusted at runtime and saved to memory. You’ll learn how to read Modbus RTU analog input values, apply a scaling equation to convert raw signals into engineering units (such as temperature), and then visually flag out-of-range conditions by changing label colors. The demo also adds a configuration screen where users can change high/low alarm limits using on-screen buttons, includes optional password protection and auto-logout for access control, and demonstrates how to store user settings (limits and passwords) in nonvolatile memory so they persist after power cycling.
