The read-cache is a memory buffer storing data from previous requests, which can reduce serial traffic and improve response times.
When multiple master devices need to access the same Modbus RTU/ASCII devices or data, the read-cache function can be enabled. This reduces the comminication load on the serial interface and provides faster response times over TCP.
