In firmware version 1.08 and later, you can configure timeout behavior per polling definition:
0 – Return exception code: reports a Modbus communication error when polling fails.
1 – Keep last valid data: retains the most recent successfully polled data if the device does not respond.
2 – Use preset value: substitutes a predefined value set in the PresetValue column.
This is set in the config.csv file under the “TimeoutAction” and “PresetValue” columns, helping maintain data consistency in unstable networks without obvious error disruptions.
