This webinar introduces Modbus SCADA/HMI system design and shows how ICP DAS USA hardware can be integrated into a complete monitoring and control solution using InduSoft Web Studio / Aveva Edge. It explains the role of SCADA and HMI software in Modbus applications—connecting to Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP devices, creating tags, building operator screens, and displaying real-time system status through graphical objects, trends, alarms, and reports. The training highlights how ViewPAC (VP series) and IWS (InduSoft Web Studio PAC) platforms can run SCADA runtime directly on the controller for on-site visualization, while also enabling secure remote access through web thin clients, smartphones, and tablets. A live demonstration walks through project setup in the development environment, selecting the correct target hardware and resolution, using the Remote Agent (CEServer) connection to download a project to the PAC, and deploying a simple control screen that can be expanded into full plant dashboards with logging, scheduling, notifications, and database connectivity.
